About Onverwacht Guest Accommodation

Parking: During the day you are welcome to park on the paving outside (or inside) the black gates leading to your accommodation. Our only request is that you avoid parking directly in front of the garage to enable the family’s cars to move in and out.
Covered parking is available behind the security gate to the right of the house should you wish to park there at night. Please remove your car as soon as possible. Kindly remove your car at your earliest convenience in the morning to allow the other vehicles freedom of movement.
The remote control is on the set of keys that you will receive.

Location: Our garden flat and cosy garden suite are in Hillsboro, a quiet and peaceful suburb only minutes by car (depending on traffic) to Bloemfontein’s beautiful Botanical gardens, shopping malls, major schools, university and the Medi-Clinic.

Northridge Mall is about 5 minutes by car from your accommodation. There you will find a supermarket selling various products, including ready-made meals, a Dis-Chem, and a few fast food outlets. Another convenient mall, Preller Square, also 5 minutes away is on Graaf Reinet St, Dan Pienaar is quick and easy to reach and offers lots of parking.

Your accommodation is next to our family home and you are welcome to contact us at any time should you need assistance or information.

Tourist Information: Brochures containing information on the attractions and amenities of Bloemfontien and its surroundings are on the TV stand rack. Please feel free to contact us should you need additional information or recommendations.

Noise: Please be considerate with regard to the neighbours. The area has a no-noise policy between 22:00 and 07:00.

Free Wifi: We will give you the password on arrival.

TV: The flat is equipped with a smart TV with access to Netflix and Amazon Prime.

Garden: During the hot summer months someone will occasionally water the plants. We will do it discreetly, to not to invade your privacy.

Fresh Linen: Linen is replaced every second day for guests staying a week or more unless otherwise required. Guests staying for a week or longer are welcome to contact us should there be specific requirements.

Kitchen: Kitchen (luxury self-catering flatlet):
In the kitchen, you should find the basic equipment that you will need during your stay. Should you need anything else, feel free to ask – if possible, we will gladly assist.

Waste Removal: We will remove the waste you put in the bins provided in your unit.

Kitchenette (Overnight Luxury Suite):
In the kitchenette, you should find the basics you will need during your stay. Should you need anything else, feel free to ask – if possible, we will gladly assist. Please take note that this kitchenette offers basic utensils only compared to the fully equipped kitchen of the flatlet.

Aircon:
The air conditioning unit is there to provide relief during the hot summer. Please ensure that the air conditioning is switched off when you leave your accommodation. We would like to ensure we do our part in being as energy-efficient as possible.

There are lighter blankets and throws in the far-right side of the cupboard. Feel free to use them. For the winter, we provide extra blankets.
